Imran khan join prestigious institutions in Pak and UK, such as the Royal Grammar School in Worcester and Aitchison College in Lahore. He had some well-known cricketers in his family, remarkably his elder cousins Majid Khan and Javed Bukri, and both national team captains. He is playing cricket for Pakistan and UK in his teenage years. Imran continuous his passion while following studies at the University of Oxford, where he graduated in 1976 and protected a stable spot on the national team.

Khan is an amazing bowler and all-around player set by the early 1980s, when he was selected as the Pak team captain. His most notable success came 1992 when he navigated Pakistan to its first World Cup title with a success over England in the championship match. He made a cancer hospital, in memory of his mother (Shaukat Khanum) who aslo died by cancer. Khan supported Pervez Musharraf from 1999. He change his opinion and the opposite Musharraf in 2007.

In his cricket career some political parties offer him to join politics. The President of Pakistan Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq offered him a political position in PML (Pakistan Muslim League), Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif invite him to join his party but he declined his offer.
