Produced by Aamir Khan, the film was funded by Kiran Rao & Viacom 18 Studios under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Laal Singh Chaddha's film features Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead role. Music director Pritam composed all the songs and background scores for this film. The film will be released in theaters on April 14, 2022 on the occasion of Baisakhi.
This movie is an official remake of the Hollywood movie Forest Gump. The film also features Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in major roles.
